Since 2018

My mother was an artist. My father was an architect. My father taught me to draw a straight line. My mother taught me to shade it.

Watercolors

I have a friend ... no applause ... she once lived in Maryland and apparently was fond of crabs. She moved to Florida and now wanders the beaches. What a life! This watercolor was for her ... yeah, she has blonde hair and yup, that's supposed to be a Maryland crab in the lower right.

I was having lunch one day with a former Board member from a former life and she she asked me to do a watercolor of the USS Enterprise for her Trekie husband for his 70th birthday. "Art, if it is successful, needs no explanation." . . . Leonard Nimoy

Not really a ... GALLERY ... just some things I've done ...

I guess there should be some order to my "gallery," so I will start with "lighthouses." Why? Because they are really what I started painting way back in 2018 when I took a beginner's class at AAH.

Another ... GALLERY

Puppies. Who doesn't like puppies?

Also a kitty or two. And some birds. I love owls, by the way. And hummingbirds are just so neat!

Yup ... a Gallery

This one is for miscellaneous watercolors. There's probably a reason I did each one, but you'll have to ask. Or it might be obvious if you click the picture to learn more!
